I’m Mel, Director of Meye Recruit, a Sydney-based specialist in insurance and professional services recruitment.

With over a decade of combined experience across underwriting and recruitment, I bring a practical, industry-informed approach to hiring.

I spent six years in underwriting across multiple lines of business before moving into recruitment, where I’ve spent the past seven years.

Today, I partner with brokerages, insurers, and professional services firms including accounting, advisory, and risk consultancies to deliver talent across broking, underwriting, claims, and business-critical functions such as finance, compliance, and operations.

My background allows me to understand both the technical detail of roles and the commercial impact of every hire. I focus on building long-term relationships, providing honest market insight, and consistently delivering candidates who add real value.
